Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Theriatis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Theriatis was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Theriatis's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Theriatis and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Jezebeth lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. After coming to the age of reason, Jezebeth took it upon herself to study the druidic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Courier and was forced into it by her family; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

History: She was born in a small plains village. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and she wants to meet her childhood hero
