History: Astar was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: Bertram was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Aristocrat, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Aristocrat in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. After a long history of fighting, Bertram and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: The child of a Roofer, who enjoyed hunting, Bella was taken on many hunting expeditions. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Navigator. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Navigator for hire.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Navigator responsibilities is difficult.
