History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Ekk was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ekk grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ekk. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

History: Born in the east her family was never financially stable. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

His red crest has been sun bleached extensively. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: The child of a Weaver, who enjoyed hunting, Aramil was taken on many hunting expeditions. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.
