Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Tod embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Daar lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and wants to raise her children well

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is obsessed with his god.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing violet cape and mantle trimmed with soft brown waves gently in the breeze. His auburn hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His blue eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Laucian hails from a village terrorized by illithids. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and many illithids want him driven away
