Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He's also a talented Butcher, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Description: A woman with a cold, calculating air about her, she is well dressed, but even with her fine clothing she looks run-down. She is bald on top and has large auburn tufts of hair around her ears. Her brown eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Callie embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She tends to her Engraver job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and balancing her hectic life and new engraver responsibilities is difficult

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: She uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs; and she is greedy

Description: This late middle aged woman wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with brown lining and desert motifs and is in decent physical shape. She keeps her long beige fur kept up in a rat tail. She has green eyes.

Personality: She is a Gardener first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Gardener for hire.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and gnomish compassion
