History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Through the years after Barendd was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Barendd's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has worked as a Cook like his mother before him.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Mindartis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out.
