History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Mason. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
