Personality: Shivering is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: Born in the north to a Shoemaker, Shivering learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Fortune-teller work with an outfit from a few towns over. Fortune-teller work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.
