History: Vepar was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Vepar and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Lavinia was born on a far western desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Scribe. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Gnomish people.

Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Trey's homeland. Trey decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
