History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with her Stableman father left her crippled. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with poetry. She constantly tries to fill her life with poetry. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: Azdûsh was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: This tall, slender woman is dressed in earthy colors with a green and brown handkerchief worn on her right side. Her crest is short and scarlet. Her eyes are gold and beady.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her first spouse was a Mayor, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and to unite with her sister
