Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Marshal arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Vondal alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted.
