History: Qualen was born with his mother's beautiful face. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Qualen grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Qualen. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He struck the Detective job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he has money and likes to spend it
