Heian took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up rapier and armor he uses now. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the south. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.
