Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Gnomes.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He found a children's book about a Gnome Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature crossbow.

Description: He stands about 6'6" and is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. His right leg appears badly burned and disfigured. He keeps his long blue hair kept up in a rat tail. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: Ahrim is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Cartwright hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a white cloak and cross-gartered grey stockings, and is pretty ugly. His black hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a small hat. He is baby faced.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Voice: Speaks like tongue is numb

Description: She wears dull green sweaters, loose blue pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath her sweater she keeps a concealed hand crossbow, just in case. Her white hair is greasy and uncared for. She wears an eyepatch.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. She has all her life been fascinated with singing.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A gifted student she started as a Scribe, but she got bored and became a Carter. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To end her boredom; and expand her business
