History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Bree grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Bree. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He left for the east, certain he would find work there.
