History: Argran was born with his father's beautiful face. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Valanthe was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Valanthe grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Valanthe. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is her passion.
