His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature glaive.

His father taught him the rudiments of the Marshal arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Though occasionally she wears more armor. She prefers to carry a scimitar, but if one is not available she will default to her flail. She has moderate length red fur. Her eyes are a pleasant amber.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. Smoking is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Smoking was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
