History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Sage hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Cloud lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Through the years after Leaf was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west.
