Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and balancing her hectic life and new spice merchant responsibilities is difficult

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and wants to raise his children well
