Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Kellen lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and doesn't want to be a marshal and was forced into it by his family

Personality: Makaria speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: She is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright black and grey, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. Her hair is long and white with streaks of black, and is pulled back with small black clips. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep brown.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
