History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Rivaan grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Rivaan. History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and nothing but the best is good enough for him
