She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help.

History: Lorilla was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.
