History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Dilettante work with an outfit from a few towns over. Dilettante work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 11 years.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He found a children's book about a Half-Elf Warlock who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She struck the Shepherd job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Half-Orc artifacts is her passion; and balancing her hectic life and new shepherd responsibilities is difficult

Personality: This woman loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Elves.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it
