History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Hugolina was born the youngest of three triplets. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Engraver work with an outfit from a few towns over. Engraver work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
