History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sword.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and balancing his hectic life and new mortician responsibilities is difficult

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Description: She wears long strands of amethyst and short tan dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. She carries with her a set of greataxes on her belt, each one with a amethyst on the hilt. Her golden hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a small hat. Her face is scarred and worn.

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Cook arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. In her 12th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.

Description: He wears dull white sweaters, loose yellow pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed monstrous two handed axe, just in case. He carries with him a set of monstrous two handed axes on his belt, each one with a jet on the hilt. He wears a Stetson hat to hide his balding. His half smiles and amber eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Howard will drive conversation. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the north were limited. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Howard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he wants to get laid
