Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Aldous hails from a village terrorized by brigands. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and many brigands want him driven away

Description: A plain young-adult woman, she likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. Her feathered hat is riddled with cuts and holes. Her eyes are likewise blue.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Dragonborn companion (her 'brother'). She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She is greedy; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

Description: This woman stands a little under 5'5" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She wears a robe, a symbol of magic around her neck, and a monstrous two handed axe on her belt. Her white fur is still thick. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are copper.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. She found a children's book about a Tabaxi Bard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is her passion
