History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the east. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Dain was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

History: Pyntle was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Sage for hire.
