Personality: He is happy with his job as a Bather. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He became a Bather soon after.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Faran hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Faran alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Faran was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and she seems to be bored by most things
