History: Born to a Cartwright, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He moved out south to avoid the crime he committed. He was granted divine powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. When Barakas reached his early adolescence his Tiefling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
