Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Vola enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Vola abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and balancing her hectic life and new mortician responsibilities is difficult

History: She got into the Ruler business at a young age. Quilla was orphaned to a temple shortly after her birth. She was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above herself and to hold her god always in her heart. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and to be a layabout again

He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 3'3" when asserting himself. His auburn hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His eyes are amber and catlike.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He works hard and plays hard.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Umpen alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.
