History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears yellow painted combat armor at almost all times. His silver hair is heavily combed to the left. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He has all his life been fascinated with writing.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Shepherd hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Richard was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
