History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Through the years after Matilda was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Matilda's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Bellfounder arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
