History: He was raised in a island tribe. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Raer took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up hand crossbow and armor he uses now. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: She comes from a rich western family. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.
