History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Modean was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Dilettante. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
