History: Mardnab lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She has never given up on her writing dream.

Description: This late middle aged woman is wearing a long, brown, dusty cloak and is in decent physical shape. She keeps her red hair in a flapper bob. Her brown eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Dwarf in existence. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Valida is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born into a rich family. Like her mother and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Navigator. She's also a talented Assassin, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Oren hails from a village terrorized by brigands. He worked as a nervous Sage and found it very stressful. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and a deep hatred of brigands

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: Ûggû lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Shipwright. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
