History: He was born on a small isolated farm. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Claira was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.
