History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her mother. In her youth she was a Scribe, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger brother on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. She has taken up work as a Body Guard and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.

She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. Some 6 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Gunnloda never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

History: She was born into a rich family. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
