History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His childhood dream was to be a Layabout, but he was a colossal failure. He's also a talented Layabout, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Ostracized due to the martial powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Elves became a terror of the countryside. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Avice was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the brigands.
