History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
