Personality: Roland wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Druid, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Hillanot was born with her mother's beautiful face. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Bricklayer for hire.

History: The child of a Tailor, who enjoyed hunting, Thorin was taken on many hunting expeditions. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and to reunite with his old friends

Description: A middle-aged woman, she is wearing a long, black, dusty cloak, and is pretty ugly. Her hair is short and blue. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. A gifted student she started as a Cartwright, but she got bored and became a Bricklayer. She has worked as a Bricklayer like her father before her.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and someone believes her a fraud
