History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Brakka grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Brakka. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: She was born into a rich family. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sickle.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with her Interpreter father left her crippled. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
