History: He was born in the west. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the west were limited. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: This woman is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of her veins is visible when she is not flexing. Her shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for her due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. Her hair is white, silky, and of moderate length. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: Baelitae was born the youngest of three triplets. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Map Maker they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Weaver, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Through the years after Orsik was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Orsik's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Orsik and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world; and wants to have a good time and be beloved
