Personality: She has two modes she varies between. On the job she is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job she is a party animal. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Layabout for the past few years.

Description: She wears suspenders and brown workpants. Her shirt is yellow, and she wears a heavy brown leather apron most of the time, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 4'3" when asserting herself. She has a very tight haircut. She has gleaming, smiling green eyes.

Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. She seeks to pay back kindness whenever she gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip she always seeks to do solids for her friends.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She worked as a nervous Cook and found it very stressful. She's also a talented Carter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To be a Carter again; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Description: He wears a brown coat over a red low-cut shirt, and a feathered hat upon his head. He carries with him a set of pickaxes, each one with a amber on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. He has a long white beard with little hanging trinkets. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Description: This man wears a tight fitting white shirt and pants. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized sapphire on his left hand. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy auburn hair. He is baby faced.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Scribe born in the past three hundred years. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Fisher. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.
