He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Stylist for hire.

History: The child of a Mercenary, who enjoyed hunting, Valafar was taken on many hunting expeditions. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Engraver. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
