History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. History: Sumnes was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student she started as a Fletcher, but she got bored and became a Brewer. She has achieved small success as a Brewer.

Personality: She will rave to anyone who will listen. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Merla fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
