Description: He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright white and green, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He has relatively light skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.
Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Cartwright business.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
Motivation: He is content; and an old rival family wants him found

Description: This exceptionally lanky man wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a black coat. His long red hair reaches down to his waist. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Flak was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.
Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats.

Description: A woman of a pale complexion, she wears tattered old clothes. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. Her eyes are blue and she is always smoking a pipe.
Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.
History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She became a Courier soon after.
Motivation: She is greedy; and money/treasure

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. She prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for her hunting needs. She wears a small hat to cover her moderate length golden hair. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. The war was a terrible time for her, and Cumpen does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.
History: Cumpen lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Cumpen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life; and regain custody of her son
