History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. When Ellywick reached her early adolescence her Gnome mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. After a long history of fighting, Ellywick and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. Being a Marshal kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the west were limited. She now mingles about in high society.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Dyer. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Paelias lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Gnomish companion (his 'brother'). He has set out to sabotage the competition.
