History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. During her travels, Kadana and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Kadana discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Kadana fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Gynnie's homeland. Gynnie decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She bought a shield and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.
