Personality: Adran hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his music career. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has never given up on his music dream.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

Personality: Maiathah is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She is a thrill seeker, she laughs at people and throws down challenges. She is highly competitive and combative.

History: She was born into a rich family. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: Regain custody of her son; and doesn't want to be a spice merchant and was forced into it by her family

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her writing with anyone who is interested.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with her Architect mother left her crippled. She has never given up on her writing dream.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother
