Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Unvera lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Mason and was forced into it by her family; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

History: She was born at the edge of vast forest. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shortspear.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: She wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination, and she perpetually has her sickle ready. Her golden hair is greasy and uncared for. Her eyes are amber.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Portia isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Halfling unity. Portia enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Portia fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes

Description: This late middle aged man is wearing a long, white cloak and is in decent physical shape. He wears his golden hair up in a very large beehive style do. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines green.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Knight. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Knight for hire.

Motivation: To settle down with his crush; and wants his loneliness to end
